Something wrong in an article - a number, a name, a tool that does not work the way we said. We fix it on the page and date the change at the foot of the piece; we do not quietly edit a published article. Point at the sentence if you can. Every claim here traces to a named Chinese source, so most corrections are settled by reading the article it came from - the full list is under The evidence at the foot of every piece.

Questions about a source, a tool you think belongs here, or a request to use something we published. Note what is not on offer: there are no sponsored posts and nothing here has been paid for by anyone whose product it discusses, so a pitch to place one will not be answered.
